Joachim’s passion for film began in childhood when he told bedtime stories to his siblings and participated in small plays in Nigeria. During his college years he began making short films with friends and later in 2021 he started making music videos. In 2023 he decided to pursue filmmaking professionally, combining his different areas of expertise—director, actor, and dancer—into the single medium of cinema.

Directing: With 5 years of directing experience, Joachim has honed his directing skills, combining storytelling experience from a Nigerian background with American storytelling techniques.

Acting: For 5 years Joachim has acted in skits, plays and films. Looking to expand his acting vocabulary he has stepped deeper into acting roles, as he did in his last film project: Emergence

Dancing: With 8 years of dance experience covering multiple dance styles (E.g: Afrobeats, Salsa, Bachata, Zouk, Kizomba e.t.c) Joachim has taught classes and performed at multiple events, including dance congresses, TV, and in short films

Joachim also has a deep passion for science, philosophy and theology. Film has been the one medium that has enabled Joachim to combine his different passions into one cohesive work, because he believes that storytelling is one of the best ways to touch the heart.
